Comments: Probably the best budget glide on the market imo, just got into bigger baits a few months ago and caught a 5 lber and a 7 lber within a week of throwing this bait. Would 100% swap out hooks and split rings, but for the money you can’t beat the action of this bait. If you are looking to get into bigger glides, I would definitely recommend this one.

Comments: Hook swivel pulled out first time fishing. Sinks fast, glides well, cheap plastic.

From: Rueben: Milford, KS 6/5/22

Comments: Cracks easily and sinks wayyyyy too fast for a slow sink. Probably is a true fast sink to moderate fast sink. Make it a true slow sink and let the angler tune it if they want it to sink faster. Could be a decent bait if they make some revisions and come back with a new one.

Comments: Swam good for the couple of times used. Now all 3 glides I bought keeps sticking to the left and does not swim correctly

From: Unknown: 12/29/21

Comments: Mine sticks left, the paint isn’t very sturdy and it has close to no flash so if your fishing this near cover it would be good but it sinks to fast, its an ok bait but there’s better ones out there for the same price. Before you buy this, do some research

Comments: I have 3 of these (both bluegill colors and a oikawa mesu) and they all work very well and consistently catch fish. They have a nice wide glide to them but they do go a little bit deeper than I would like. That being said, I use that to my advantage and fish them deep and slow in the winter. Biggest on this bait is 7.11 so far on the oikawa mesu color. From: Will: Kansas 12/27/20

Comments: Bought the Silver/Black last year and love it. For $35 it is really hard to beat. Sure, there are “better” glides on the market but this one does what it is supposed to do well. I have caught 5 fish on it over 4 pounds and the stock hardware has held up nicely. I wanna buy the Oikawa Mesu color next and see how it fares where I fish. I

Comments: Really easy to use and a great starter bait but does sink a little fast. But it wasn’t a problem for me.

Comments: This is quickly becoming my favorite 8 inch glidebait. This bait swims swims more fluidly than the S-Waver for me and twitches/shimmies better. Swiveling hook hangers are a nice feature, and I expect to replace the stock trebles on every bait in this price range, anyway. I think it’s rather silly to compare this bait with a $160 specialty glide (re: comment on how the Roman Made Negotiator is better). I’ve had great success on this bait when other glides didn’t work. How do you reconcile that with other comments about trips where the fish bit everything BUT this bait? It’s just bass fishing, sometimes one bait works but not the other, and only the bass know why. That’s why you want multiple glides in your arsenal… for me, I want it to include a couple of these Arashis.

Comments: The last Two Arashi Glides I have purchased have both had a micro crack in the back end of the bait and the tail end now takes on water after some use causing the bait to not glide and swim correctly! I dont know if im the only one whos had this problem Pls lmk if theres a fix in the works soon. Besides that This bait has caught me my fair share of big fish 6lbs+ largemouth in the last year, ive had it in 3 different colors Bluegill, Rainbow Trout, and Oikawa Mesu. Theyre all nice in my opinion ! The colors are pretty subtle not too non are super flashy but the action makes up for it. The stock hard wear aint bad for the price id still change it out but i caught and flipped a 6.11 on the stock hardware this year so thats saying somthing at least would be a Fantastic bait if if didnt take on water 🙁

Comments: I’ve only had it short period of time but I’m already sticking quality fish with it the biggest so far weighing about 4-1/2 lbs. My experience is different than the comment posted below. I found that it to be a slow sinking bait with a fluid retrieve. Works well when retrieved fast and doesn’t get fouled as much as most other baits with hard twitches. This is an impressive looking budget glide bait. From: Robert: Battle Creek, MI 4/5/20

Comments: Not what I was looking for. Sinks like a rock compared to a Roman Made Negotiator. Probably good for someone new to glide bait fishing but I’m way to picky to settle for one that sinks this fast. I look for a bait I can pause when a fish is behind it and it sinks so slow it practically suspends. I went all the way down to #2 hooks and it still sinks way to fast. Disappointed but not surprised. From: Eric: Wisconsin 4/4/20

Comments: The Arashi in my opinion is probably one of the easiest glide baits to fish. This bait has probably one of the smoothest glides I’ve seen for a bait this price, much more so than the S Waver. From: Nick: Texas 4/1/20

Comments: I have not enjoyed this glide bait at all. Has a very quick sink rate, stock hardware was not the best, and doesn’t really show up in the water. I see no flash or reflection from these lures at all. Also not best suited for ponds and shallow areas. If you are trying to fish in less than 10ft, be prepared to lose it. They sink really quick, in terms for a glide bait, and they nose down on the retrieve. making them dive deeper. The real test was fishing Lake Mohave. It didn’t matter what lure I was fishing with, the largies, smallies, and stripes were smashing every other glide and topwater lure I was using. I threw multiple colors of the Arashi Glide and did not get a single bite or follow. Went back to an S-Waver and Savage Glide and started smashing fish again. I don’t believe it stands out in the water like other baits do. They don’t shimmy like an S-Waver, shine like a Savage Glide, nor do they swim like other baits at similar price points. I would recommend getting another glidebait if you were interested. I only mention the S-Waver and Savage Glide because they are in the same price category. Invest in a better swimming glide bait.

Comments: For some reason the one I ordered came with open split rings. I don’t know what happened there. From: Sammie: Madera 12/7/19

Comments: I fish lots of glide bait and this one has excellent performance characteristics. Especially in cover. Its got a killer swim at slow speeds and fast. Not all lower price point glides can handle fast retrieves without blowing out but the Arashi does not blow out. Its got a wider glide than a S-Waver and to me fishes and swims better than a S-Waver.From: Unknown: Chattanooga 11/11/19
