The Super Ten of North American big game has become the most popular award within the Grand Slam Club/Ovis family. So many of our members have begun to aspire to this milestone. To accomplish the Super Ten, one must do a lot of big game hunting in many different parts of North America. Furthermore, one must hunt not only the mountain species but the broad range of antlered game, and yes, the predators too. The Super Ten milestone has become extremely popular, and we are proud to have introduced it to the big game hunting community.

To qualify for the Super Ten of North American Big Game, you must have at least one from each of the ten categories listed below.

GSCO has introduced the “My 10” Winner’s Choice Drawing for a chance to win a hunt to help hunters qualify for the Super Ten of North American Big Game. The “My 10” Winner’s Choice Drawing allows a winner to choose one of their remaining Super Ten categories that has been unfulfilled.

Follow These steps to sign up for the “My 10” Winner’s Choice Drawing!

  1. MUST be a GSCO annual or life member in good standing.
  2. In addition to a GSCO membership, one MUST purchase a $25 GSCO “My 10” Winner’s Choice Drawing ticket; only one ticket entry per member.*
  3. Members must be in pursuit of their SUPER TEN and have NOT completed it.
  4. Members MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN at the annual GSCO Convention (exact time & location TBA).
  5. Members should document all North American species they have taken with GSCO. Members should submit hunt reports to GSCO to be featured in a future issue of Slam Quest magazine.
  6. EACH “My 10” Winner’s Choice Drawing participant will receive only one ticket in this “My 10” Drawing. The winner who is drawn selects their choice of Super Ten species category from their remaining species categories NEEDED on their SUPER TEN List!
  7. Once the winner chooses the Super Ten species category to hunt, GSCO will decide and choose the type of species for the hunt to help complete their Super Ten. For example, if a winner chooses the sheep category for a hunt, GSCO decides if it will be a Dall, desert, Stone or Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep hunt.
  8. Winning does not kick you out! “My 10” Winner’s Choice Drawing participants can participate each year as long as their SUPER TEN has NOT been achieved and their GSCO membership is in good standing. Auto renewal will begin after each annual drawing for each participant. If you have completed your Super Ten or would like to be removed from the drawing, contact the GSCO office at 205-674-0101 or email gsco@wildsheep.org.
