Did your comment make the Top 100? Deer & Deer Hunting fans have come up with quite the list! Remember, this is all in good fun! Although some of the omitted comments were spiteful, the vast majority are ones you’ve probably heard before … and maybe even use regularly!

It all started when I decided to create a little Family Feud style meme earlier this week and post it to the Deer & Deer Hunting social media pages. I was expecting some engagement, but not by the thousands! You all really showed up, spoke your minds, and revealed some that we have never heard before!

So without further ado, here’s the list (in no particular order):

1. “I Smoked Him!”

Referring to shot placement.

2. “Cull Buck”

Justification of a buck that you shot.

3. “Didn’t Go 20”

Reference to how far a deer ran before collapsing.

4. “If it’s Brown, it’s Down!”

Reference to hunters who will shoot any legal deer.

5. “I Stuck a Doe”

Bowhunting reference.

6. “He Needs Another Year”

In reference to a buck a hunter deems as too small.

7. “Put the Smack Down”

Shot reference.

8. “Management Buck”

9. “Dirt Nap”

Shot and killed a deer.

Reference to when the nighttime sky is pitch black.

Excuse for fruitless days afield.

Reference to video hunters watching a deer in play-by-play fashion.
